Everyone needs a couple of these on them at all times. Case in point. 2 weeks ago there was a car verses motorcycle accident in front of our house. I grabbed the trama pack out of my car and was able to put a tourniquet on a woman’s leg. Glad I had them on hand. Get them and keep them on hand.
everyone with a first aid kit should have a tourniquet. everyone who goes to the shooting range should have one. Also, please know how to properly use one, there are plenty of online videos. these are good enough* until medical professionals arrive. they come with a time instruction card.
Another must have for your vacation car's aid kit. 1/3 of a can of soda's worth of blood is life threatening. For a few dollars, you can save a life. Don't believe what you see on TV- a shirt or belt isn't going to cut it generally. After you buy, go online and watch how to use them. I sure hope I never need to use them, but I'm ready if I do.
To me it can be a good addition to my first aid box. I kept one out to practice with and teach my wife and grand kids how to use it. The rest went into the car and truck for that "just in case" times. Its one of those objects you have and hope you never have to use.
I open, test, and repackage every one of these I pack into my trauma kits. While they seem to be of lesser quality than some of the brand name tourniquets out there, they work just as well. And for an item that will get used once and discarded, I like that I can buy 2 or 3 for the price of one of the other brands.
I think this is the best for the cost I watched the videos on Youtube first to look for the best and this was the one they all said to get. I think it's very much worth the money since it can save your life or someone else's., just maybe watch the how to use one vidios or ask a doctor and well yes never carry or use anything your not sure about.
I bought these for our home ER kits after taking Stop the Bleed class. I am a trauma nurse and accidents happen all the time. If you buy this learn how to use it before you need it!!! I even made my 12 year old learn how to apply it so if needed she can save a life!!
Standard tourniquets that seem like they will get the job done. As with any purchase of this type it’s purchased with hope that it will never be needed, but these seem like they will get the job done and don’t break the bank. Good to have a couple in your car or day bag if you are off the beaten path hiking or camping.
Easy to use. Can apply to yourself one handed if you need to. I would hate to be in a position to need to use it, but if I did, I'm confident it would do a great job for someone who has a hemorrhaging limb. Quality made, very happy with this purchase.
